Value Stay Bruges is a pleasant motel-style residence in the Sint-Michiels district of Bruges and at 5 km from the romantic “City Center” of Bruges.

Value Stay Bruges offers functional accommodation and free Wi-Fi equipped with TV cable, a bathroom with bathtub and shower and a hairdryer. It benefits from on-site private parking free of charge and a spacious garden.

The train station is at 3 km from the Value Stay Bruges and we are at 900 m from the Express Way. A bus stop just in front of the Residence will bring you to all places.

     

Practical information

Bookings

All individual reservations should be booked online. Best prices & availability on www.valuestay.be. You will manage the room type you desire and service options until the payment.

For group requests (more than 6 rooms), please send your request to our Value Stay Host on bookings@value-stay.be.

The reservation office is opened from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and closed on Saturdays, Sundays & Belgian Bank Holidays.

Reception

Our Resident Manager will be present:

Monday:            8 am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 8 pm

Tuesday:           8 am to 10 am, in the afternoon, I am off, use the “Check in Instructions” email

Wednesday:       I am off, use the “Check in Instructions” email

Thursday:          8 am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 8 pm

Friday:              8 am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 9 pm

Saturday:          8 am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 8 pm

Sunday:            8 am to 10 am and from 4 pm, “Instructions check in email” - 6 pm to 8 pm

Check in

The rooms are ready from 4pm. Depending on his schedule the Resident Manager will be at your disposal for your check in.

If you arrive after 8 pm or when the residence operates with an automatic check in, please let us know by email and we will inform you of the procedure to follow.

The rooms can be prepared for 11 am at an extra charge of € 20 and subject to availability.

You must show a valid photo ID or passport upon check in. We will also ask to show the credit card that you have used to make the payment.

Payment

You should pay for your room before you arrive. We accept Visa, Mastercard and bank transfers. All payments can be made via our website.

An unpaid reservation may be cancelled without notice at any time.

Please note that the credit card used at the time of booking must be presented at check-in. If the owner of the credit card does not travel, he / she must sign an authorization form (to be requested before arrival)

Check-out

You must leave the room for 10am on the day of departure.

Late check-out can be arranged according to availability: for 1 pm: € 20.

If you wish to extend your stay, we invite you to do so online.

Cancellation

We will apply the cancellation policy according to the price you have chosen. All cancellation requests must be made by e-mail.

For a change of dates for a non-refundable rate, a supplement of € 35 will be charged for the administrative expenses and the price per night will be automatically adjusted on the new stay. This condition is subject to availability.

Cleaning service

The rooms will be cleaned on the departure of the guest. If you want to have this service in option, it will be organized only upon request and via a prepayment.

For long stay, rooms will be cleaned 1 time per week.

During short stays, you can benefit from a refreshment upon request and with a prepayment of € 10 per service (special rate via our website).

For a full cleaning, € 15 extra will be added to your invoice (special rate via our website). 

Bed linen and towels are included in the price of the room.

Internet

To access the wireless internet connection, you must enter a code issued at the reception.

Non-smoking

Value Stay is a smoke-free property. Please note that new guests will stay in your room after your departure.

Children

Children are allowed on an adult's accompaniment. A cot is available for an extra charge of € 7 per night (max 1 bed per room and until 3 years old)

Breakfast

Breakfast is served daily from 7.30 am to 10 am.

The price of breakfast is € 12 per person per day. It must be booked in advance.

For kids from 0 to 6 years old, it is free of charge but should be booked.

For kids from 7 to 12 years old, the breakfast will be at € 6 per kid.

Animals

Pets are welcome. We accept a maximum of 1 pet per room for an extra charge of € 10 per night (special price via our website).

Parking

We have a free parking on site.

 Train:    

x 19 minutes from the Value Stay Bruges with public transport to the train station

 Airport:

x The national Brussels Airport, one hour away by train or car, offers the best connections.

x The nearest airport is the Ostend-Bruges International Airport in Ostend

× Recently there also started a direct bus line from Brussels South Charleroi Airport to Bruges.

Bus: 

x 33 minutes to reach the Markt of Bruges with the bus, use bus lines 7 and 27.

Bike: 

x 14 minutes to reach the Markt of Bruges.

 

Touristic Interests & activities

Bruges has most of its medieval architecture intact, making it one of the most well-preserved medieval towns in Europe. The historic centre of Bruges has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. Along with a few other canal-based northern cities, such as Amsterdam and Stockholm, it is sometimes referred to as The Venice of the North.
